Welcome to the MDMT website
The Martyn Donaldson Music Trust has been set up in memory of Martyn Donaldson, who died tragically on 17th September 2002.
Martyn was an active and accomplished musician, an extrovert with a wicked sense of humour and a gentle and sensitive young man, much loved by his wide circle of friends. The Trust has been set up by his family and friends to celebrate Martyn’s life and provide a lasting legacy to his achievements, dreams and ambitions.

To support musical activities in the Macclesfield area by
- Sponsoring community arts projects.
- Sponsoring concerts by young musicians embarking on their professional careers.
- Providing quality instruments on a loan free basis for promising young performers.
