Music Teacher Required In Kenya
The Kenya Conservatoire of Music requires a teacher of CELLO who in addition could also offer some piano tuition. This is a new post being sponsored and administered by The Martyn Donaldson Music Trust. Founded in 1944, the Conservatoire’s primary aim is to offer formal training from elementary to diploma standard to students of all ages across Kenya at affordable rates. The teacher will offer individual and group tuition and contribute to the general musical life of the institution and its 300 students, most of whom are part-time. Applicants for the post will have a Music degree or the equivalent,
or a B.Ed with Music. The post is initially for one or two years, starting in Jan 2010.
